Auto Club for Development of Traffic education and Motorsport - Prishtina

Auto Club Prishtina - DTM, was established in 1996 to gather enthusiasts and people of good will for auto-motor sport, aiming the development of traffic culture and education, auto-motor sport activities and organization of sport manifestations in this area.

Right after the war this club continues its work with great desire and dedication of its members for development of auto-motor sport in Kosova, therefore, to be able tofunctions as such, registers at UNMIK administration as an Independent Nongovernmental Association which performs activities in Auto-Motor and Go-Cart sports in Kosova and wider, also according to its potential co-operates with other sister organizations in Europe and World wide.

The activities of Auto Club Prishtina –DTM are:

- Development and promotion of Auto-Motor and Go-cart sports, as well as increasing the quality of these sports on higher National level and also International affirmation.

- Education in urban traffic and driving culture in general Development and cultivation of all others activities that support advancing the auto-motor sport and urban traffic within Kosova.

Members of Auto Club “Prishtina - DTM” are enthusiasts and admirers of auto-motor sport, professionals, open minded with positive attitude towards world and society. Many of them participated in this sport for decades.

This club has over fifty (50) members, huge fan, and enthusiasts for auto-motor sports. Amongst them there are seven (3) racers managed by professional staff, past competitors, and experts with international experience in auto-motor sport.

The membership in Auto Club Prishtina -DTM is opened and welcomed for everyone regardless of race, gender, nationality and religion.

The DTM-Prishtina has 3 cars professionally prepared to meet European standards and according to FIA’s International regulations for participation in racing championships, within Kosova and wider.

Our plans for participation in international championships for the season of 2008 year are to take part in at least three (3) international championships.
